The Nutone Extension Cord is used to connect an Electric Power Brush to an electrical outlet when not using a current-carrying hose. If you are using a standard or non-electric hose and need to connect your central vacuum hose to an electric powerhead this is the cord that is needed to do so. Simply attach this cord to the outside of your house and then plug it into the wall. There is no need to buy another central vacuum hose.
The extra-long 36 ft extension cord has a female 2-prong end that connects to the electric powerhead cord and the other end is a traditional plug that plugs into an electrical outlet.
